More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers Will Premiere in October

The website for the More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers anime adaptation has revealed an October premiere date for the show and a key visual featuring the four main characters.

The website also released details about the main cast, which includes Saori Oonishi as Akari Watanabe, Seiichiro Yamashita as Jiro Yakuin, Saki Miyashita as Shiori Sakurazaka. and Toshiki Masuda as Minami Tenjin. Additionally, Liyuu was revealed to be the singer for the opening song, which is titled “TRUE FOOL LOVE,” while Nowlu is performing the ending song “Stuck on you.”

More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers is based on the Kadokawa-published manga by Yuuki Kanamaru, which began in 2018 and has eight tankoubon volumes as of May 2, 2022. The manga is serialized in Young Ace and published under the Kadokawa Comics Ace label.

The story follows Jiro and Akari, two polar opposite students from Seisun Academy, a high school where students have to undergo “marital training.” As part of this training, Jiro and Akari find themselves having to live together, and the two have to reluctantly act like a couple in an effort to earn more points and switch to their preferred partners.
