SQUARE ENIX announced that it has released the global version of MANGA UP! manga app service. The manga application is available on iOS and Android and has a web browser feature, but only allows a preview of the first few chapters.
The app launched with 160 manga titles including Horimiya, The Case Study of Vanitas, Fullmetal Alchemist, and My Dress-up Darling. There are over 100 new English translations at the moment. SQUARE ENIX also announced the app will release the latest installments of chapters “soon after their Japanese releases.”
While the app is free to download, in-app purchases are required to read individual chapters. The app uses three different app currency.
MANGA UP! was originally released in Japan in 2017 and currently has over 19 million downloads.
