Shinobi no Ittoki Ninja Anime Receives New Key Visual and Trailer

A main trailer and third key visual have been released for the ninja-themed original anime Shinobi no Ittoki. The new key visual features the anime’s sizeable ninja cast.

The release of the new promotional material was accompanied by the announcement of Taito Ban, Taku Yashiro, Kan Tanaka, Naomi Shindou, Masaki Terasoma, Yasuhiro Mamiya, and Kenjiro Tsuda as additional cast members. It was also revealed that Humbreaders is performing the opening song “Hikari,” which is previewed in the new trailer.

An October 4 Japanese release date was revealed in the trailer as well.

The premise involves a long-lasting conflict between two ninja factions, the Koga and Iga. The protagonist is a boy who lives an ordinary life, until he is targeted by Koga ninja and learns that he is the 19th successor of the Iga.

Shuu Watanabe (Aldnoah Zero and Re: Creators episode director) is directing with Minato Takano (Kakegurui live-action movie co-writer) as series composer and scriptwriter, Isamu Suzuki (Lord ElMelloi II’s Case Files {Rail Zeppelin} Grace note animation director) as character designer and chief animation director, and TOMOSIRO (Macross Δ Movie: Zettai Live!!!!!! co-composer) as music composer. TROYCA is the animation production company.

Other staff include Jun Okuda (Tales of the Rays: Everlasting Destiny key animator, H2O: Footprints in the Sand character designer) as main animator, Eiji Iwase (Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna) as art director, Mariko Shinohara (Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note) as color designer, and Tomonori Katou (Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note) as photography director.

Meanwhile, the main cast includes Ryouta Oosaka as Ittoki Sakuraba, Katsuyuki Konishi as Tokisada Kaga, Haruka Shiraishi as Kousetsu, and Kikuko Inoue as Yumika Sakuraba.
