Anime Adaptation of Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life Coming in 2023

An anime adaptation of the Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life manga has been announced. It is set to premiere in January 2023. 

The Kodansha-published manga series by Rurekutye, which is an adaptation of the light novel series written by Rokujuuyon Okazawa and illustrated by Yuichi Murakami, began in 2020 and released its seventh tankoubon volume on July 20. The manga is serialized in Monthly Young Magazine and published under the Young KC Special label. It was originally serialized in Young Magazine 3rd.

Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life follows Dariel, a soldier in the demon king’s army who is unable to use magic. After a sudden dismissal, Dariel ends up in a human village where he discovers that he himself is a human as well. With his adventurer skills blossoming, Dariel begins his second life.

The light novel series, which is published under the Overlap Novels label, began in 2018 and has 11 volumes as of March 2022. Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life began in 2018 as a web novel on Shousetuka ni Narou, where it ended serialization in 2020.
