Ani-One Asia has announced that the Black Summoner anime will be simulcasted on its YouTube channel. The show will premiere on July 9 at 9 PM (UTC+8) with new episodes on Saturdays.
Black Summoner is based on the light novel series by Doufu Mayoi with illustrations from Kurogin, which began in 2016 and has 17 volumes as of June 2022. It is published under the OVERLAP Bunko label.
J Novel Club describes the story as:

X) as character designer, Sachiko Oohashi (Heaven’s Design Team character designer) as sub-character designer, and Kou Inaba (Gekijouban Macross Zetai Live!!!!!! co-mechanical designer) as monster and prop designer.
Other staff include Eri Suzuki (Ensemble Stars!! Road to Show!!) as color designer, Natsumi Uchida (The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt) as photography director, Reina Nakamura (Symphogear XV CG Live Lead Designer) as CGI director, and Michiru (Dance Dance Danseur) and Yuria Miyazono as music composers. Satelight is the animation production company.
Meanwhile, the cast includes Kouki Uchiyama as Kelvin, Manaka Iwami as Efil, Reina Ueda as Melfina, Saku as Clot, Yousuke Akimoto as Jellal, and Minori Suzuki as Sera.
The Black Summoner light novels inspired a manga adaptation by Gin Amou (also published by OVERLAP) that released its first tankoubon volume in 2018. The story originally began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2014.
