The anime production team for ESTAB LIFE: GREAT ESCAPE has revealed a new 15-second teaser PV trailer for its new upcoming film, ESTAB LIFE: Revengers’ Road. The trailer highlights a new central character to the series named Kisaragi, who is described as a “vampire cyborg.”

The ESTAB LIFE multimedia project is a collaboration between Crunchyroll and Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block. Hiroyuki Hashimoto (Is the Order a Rabbit? BLOOM) directed the anime series, Shouji Gatoh (COP CRAFT) wrote the screenplay, Yuusuke Kozaki (UNDER THE DOG) created the original character designs, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Love Live! Super Star!!) composed the musical score. Gorou Taniguchi is credited with original planning for the franchise. Polygon Pictures has handled animation production for the TV anime series and will do again for the film.

The main voice cast included Tomomi Mineuchi as Ekua, Rie Takahashi as Feles. Maria Naganawa as Maruteese, Show Hayami as Aruga, and Shin-ichirou Miki as Urura.

Crunchyroll streamed the ESTAB LIFE: GREAT ESCAPE anime series as it aired in Japan in English speaking territories. It ran from April 7, 2022 to June 23, 2022.

Polygon Pictures describes the anime as:

The distant future. After reaching its peak, Earth’s population fell into decline. AI was developed to help preserve the species and manage the ecosystem; a grand experiment in human diversity.

Through genetic engineering, a diverse array of peoples, including beastfolk, magical beings, and more, was created to live in a diverse city separated into walled “clusters”. Each cluster developed a unique culture, befitting of the people that lived there.

Their lives, and the system, is continually maintained by the AI to ensure survival.
