The additional voice cast consists of Horie as Tsukasa Gojouin, Mikako Komatsu as Fujisaki, and Miyu Tomita as Natsume Nakashima. They join Saori Hayami as the young protagonist Yuuri and Rie Takahashi as the titular maid Lilith.
The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious was first confirmed for a July premiere this past May. Lilith will also receive a special bunny girl figure, based on a special illustration drawn by original creator Wakame Konbu (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!).

The production team includes Mirai Minato (The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody and The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! director) as chief director and series scriptwriter, Misuzu Hoshino (The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody episode director) as director, Ibe Yuushi (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!) as assistant director, and Machi Yoshino (The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody chief animation director) as character designer. Kouji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki are composing the music, while SILVER LINK and BLADE are handling the animation production.
The original manga series was first created by Konbu in Janaury 22, 2020 and has published five tankoubon volumes in total so far. It is currently serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine under the Gangan Comics Joker label.

Yen Press releases the series in English for North America. It describes the story as:
There’s something really strange about the maid I just hired! No normal person could be so beautiful, or cook such amazingly delicious food, or know exactly what I want before I even ask. She must be using magic—right, a spell is the only thing that can explain why my chest feels so tight whenever I look at her. I swear, I’m going to get to the bottom of what makes this maid so…mysterious!
