Premium Bandai Japan has revealed a new Tamagotchi series based on Anya Forger from the popular Spy x Family anime series, giving fans the chance to take care of the cute, psychic character.
The Tamagotchi features three mini-games that can be played to unlock more outfits, of which there are 14 in total. The currently revealed minigames are dodgeball and SPY Word Match. The costumes include original ones not seen in the anime or manga in the form of the Dress-Up and Mahoutsukai outfits.
Fans will also be able to feed Anya peanuts as a snack. If you do not pay Anya attention, she will run away.
Several of Anya’s expressions, including her famous smirk, are replicated in the Tamotgochi as well.
There are two versions of the Tamagotchi, and each will cost 2,530 yen (USD$19.35). The Spy x Family Tamotgochihas visual motifs are inspired by Loid, Yor, and Anya, while the Anyacchi Pink is focused on Anya. Both will go on sale on December 17.
