The Dawn of the Witch anime is delaying its 7th episode by one week to May 26. As such, no new episode will be aired next week.

The delay mirrors The Demon Girl Next Door Season 2, which has also postponed its 7th episode to May 26.

The Dawn of the Witch is based on the light novel series written by Kakeru Kobashiri and illustrated by Takashi Iwasaki. Kodansha describes the manga as:

Saybil is a magic student with no memories of his life before he met a mysterious silver-haired woman in an alley. Now he travels with his teacher, Loux—another student, Holt, and the beastfallen Kudo for “special training”… but this field trip may not be as routine as it seems!

The Dawn of the Witch’s main staff includes Satoshi Kuwabara (The Quintessential Quintuplets, Girlfriend, Girlfriend) as director and series composer, and Reina Iwasaki (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) as character designer. Tezuka Productions is the animation production company. Meanwhile, the cast includes Shuuichirou Umeda as Saybil, Miho Okasaki as Loux Krystas, Sayumi Suzushiro as Holt, Taku Yashiro as Kudo, Yumiri Hanamori as the Mud-Black Witch, Masaaki Yano as Mercenary, and Masaaki Mizunaka as Priest.

Crunchyroll is streaming the Spring 2022 anime in non-Asian territories, while Muse Asia is streaming it in Southeast Asia.
