Overlord Season Four Reveals OP & ED Theme Songs & Artists

The opening and ending themes for the upcoming fourth season of Overlord have been released by the anime production team, as well as the artists that are performing them. The series will air this coming July 2022

The fourth season’s opening theme “HOLLOW HUNGER” is performed by musical duo OxT. Meanwhile, the ending theme “No Man’s Dawn” is sung by singer Mayu Maeshima, who was lead vocalist of the musical unit MYTH & ROID from 2015 to 2017.  

Physical CD releases of both songs will be released and sold in Japanese stores on July 27, 2022 for around 1200 yen (US$9.30) plus tax. 

Many cast members from previous seasons of Overlord are reprising their roles, including Satoshi Hino as Ainz, Yumi Hara as Albedo, Sumire Uesaka as Shalltear, Emiri Katou as Aura, Yumi Uchiyama as Mare, Masayuki Katou as Demiurge, and Kenta Miyake as Cocytus.

The animation production staff consists of Naoyuki Itou (Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge) as director for the fourth season, Yukie Sugawara (Combatants Will Be Dispatched!) as script writer, and Satoshi Tasaki (No Game, No Life Zero) as character designer. So-bin is credited as the original character designer. The animation production will once again be handled by MADHOUSE

When a popular MMORPG is scheduled to be shut down permanently, veteran player Momonga refuses to log out. As NPCs begin to develop personalities and minds of their own he decides to put his skills to use as the game’s new overlord.
