Bubble Movie Releases New Trailer Highlighting Eve Opening Song

The upcoming Bubble parkour anime has released a new trailer that spotlights the opening song “Bubble feat. Uta” by Eve

The new promotional video comes ahead of the film’s Netflix release on April 28. The movie is also set to open in Japanese theaters on May 13.

Netflix describes the film’s premise as:

The story is set in Tokyo, after bubbles that broke the laws of gravity rained down upon the world. Cut off from the outside world, Tokyo has become a playground for a group of young people who have lost their families, acting as a battlefield for parkour team battles as they leap from building to building. Hibiki, a young ace known for his dangerous play style, makes a reckless move one day and plummets into the gravity-bending sea. His life is saved by Uta, a girl with mysterious powers who appears suddenly. The pair then hear a unique sound audible only to them. Why did Uta appear before Hibiki? Their encounter leads to a revelation that will change the world.

Bubble‘s staff includes Tetsurou Araki (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) as director, Nitroplus’s Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) as scriptwriter, manga artist Takeshi Obata (Death Note) as original character designer, Satoshi Kadowaki (Attack on Titan Season 1–3) as chief animation director, and Hiroyuki Sawano (86 EIGHTY SIX co-composer) as music composer. Wit Studio is the animation production company.
