To Your Eternity Season 2 Gets Trailer, New Director and Studio Revealed

To Your Eternity Season 2 has released a trailer ahead of its Fall 2022 premiere, previewing the next of Fushi’s (Reiji Kawashima) adventures and the new faces that will appear.

Additionally, the trailer comes with the reveal of a new director and studio. While Season 1 was directed by Masahiko Murata and produced by Brain’s Base, Season 2 will be directed by Kiyoko Sayama (Amanchu! Advance) with Drive as the animation production studio. The returning staff includes Kouji Yabuno as character designer, Shinzou Fujita as series composer, and Ryou Kawasaki as music composer.

The first season of To Your Eternity first aired from April 2021 to August 2021. The anime is based on the manga by Yoshitoki Ooima, which began in 2016 and has 17 tankoubon volumes as of February 2022. The manga is serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and published under the Kodansha Comics label.

Crunchyroll describes the first season as:

A lonely boy wandering the Arctic regions of North America meets a wolf, and the two become fast friends, depending on each other to survive the harsh environment. But the boy has a history, and the wolf is more than meets the eye as well…
