Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Anime Reveals 10th Anniversary Project

The anime adaptation of Hirohiko Araki‘s Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure manga released a 10th Anniversary Project trailer on April 4, providing a look back on the various Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure shows that have been released over the years. Additionally, several anniversary plans were announced.

These plans include the JOJOTREE: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in Tokyo Skytree collaboration, an anniversary exhibition, the limited-time JOJO’S WORLD 2 theme park, a special issue of anime music magazine Lis Ani!, and the previously revealed JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R fighting game. The collaboration event with Tokyo Skytree will take place from May 10 to August 9, while the exhibition, JOJO’S WORLD 2, and the special Lis Ani! issue are set to launch sometime in the summer. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R will launch in early autumn.

The Tokyo Skytree collaboration will have limited goods and a special menu among other features, while JOJO’S WORLD 2 will sport setting-inspired attractions, photo spots, minigames, and more. Meanwhile, the Lis Ani! special issue will feature interviews with the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure series’ theme song artists, staff, and cast, along with “various data” and other content.

Both the theme park and exhibition will kick off in Tokyo and Ikebukuro before making their way to other parts of Japan.

The David Production-produced Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series began in 2012, with the installments including JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders – Battle in Egypt, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, and 2022’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. An OVA based on the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan spin-off ran from 2017 to 2020.

The Shueisha-published manga began in 1986 and had Part 9 announced in 2021. The current anime series is preceded by an OVA series and a movie that were produced by a different animation production studio.
