Additionally, it was announced that a prequel titled Prologue will be released this summer, with the project featuring the Gundam Lfrith and Beguir-Beu mobile suits. It will debut at the Gundam Next Future -Link The Universe- event. All three mechs are receiving Gunpla kits.

The main Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury show is set to premiere in October in Japan via the revived Nichigo timeslot.

As for the Gundam Next Future -Link The Universe- event, it is described as “the first event that links the Life-Sized Gundam around the world: the Moving Gundam in Yokohama, Kanagawa; the Life-Sized Unicorn Gundam in Odaiba, Tokyo; the Life-Sized Freedom Gundam in Shanghai, China; and the Life-Sized v Gundam in Fukuoka, which will be unveiled in April.” More details will be announced later.
