Skeleton Knight in Another World Previews Characters, Ending Song in New Trailer

Skeleton Knight in Another World has released its third trailer ahead of its April 7 premiere. The new trailer previewing the show’s main and supporting cast, as well as the ending song “Bokura ga Oroka da nante Dare ga Itta” by DIALOGUE+.

Initially spotlighted in the trailer are Rhoden princes Dakares (Daiki Hamano) and Sekt (Kengo Kawanishi), Rhoden princess Yuriarna (Saori Oonishi), Rhoden commander Cetrion (Minoru Shiraishi), and Revlon emperor Domitianus (Akira Ishida). Later, the trailer highlights main characters like the titular Skeleton Knight Arc ( Tomoaki Maeno), the elf Ariane (Fairouz Ai), the beastman Chiyome (Miyu Tomita), and the fox-like creature Ponta (Nene Hieda). 

The trailer also spotlights beastman ninja Goemon (Ryouta Takeuchi), Ariane’s mother Glenys (Yuuko Minaguchi), Ariane’s father Danka (Kousuke Toriumi), and Ariane’s older sister Eevin (Rumi Ookubo).

Skeleton Knight in Another World is based on the light novel series by written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by Akira Sawano, which began in 2015 and has nine volumes as of March 2019. It is published under the OVERLAP Novels label. A manga adaptation by Akira Sawano began in 2017.

Seven Seas describes the light novel’s first volume as:

One day, a gamer played video games until he fell asleep…and when he woke up, he found himself in the game world–as a skeleton! Equipped with the powerful weapons and armor of his avatar but stuck with its frightening skeletal appearance, Arc has to find a place for himself in this new, fantastical land. All his hopes for a quiet life are dashed when he crosses paths with a beautiful elven warrior, setting him on a journey full of conflict and adventure.

The anime’s staff includes Katsumi Ono (Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap BattleSymphogear XV) as director, Shigatsu Yoshikawa (Super Cub episode director) as assistant director, Takeshi Kikuchi (Ragnastrike Angels) as series composer, Tooru Imanishi (Super Cub) as character designer, Hideki Inoue (Super Cub chief animation director) as sub-character designer, and Yoshihiro Nagamori (Beyblade Burst QuadDrive avatar designer) as monster designer.

Other staff include Chiho Nakamura (Deca-Dence) as color designer, Kusanagi’s Kenta Tsuboi (D4DJ: First Mix) as art director, Sei Yamamoto (Deep Insanity THE LOST CHILD) as photography director, and eba (Puchimas! Petit Idolmaster “zone of fortune” music arrangement) and Tsubasa Itou (Iwakakeru -Sport Climbing Girls-) as music composers. Studio KAI and HORNETS are the animation production companies.
