Fanfare of Adolescence To Premiere on April 2, New Trailer and Visual Released

The upcoming teen horse-racing anime Fanfare of Adolescence is set to premiere on April 2. A new trailer and visual, as well as additional cast info, have been released.

The newly announced cast members are JO1 boy band members Syoya Kimata and Shousei Oohira, who are playing Kosei Nambara and Masaki Azuma respectively. Their characters are members of the in-universe Mr. Doctor idol group, which the protagonist was once part of.

JO1 is also involved with the anime’s opening and ending songs, which are previewed in the new trailer. JO1 is credited with performing the opening song “Move The Soul,” while members Junki Kouno and Shou Yonashiro are involved with the ending song “OUTSIDERS” alongside Sawano Hiroyuki as SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]: Junki Kouno&Shou Yonashiro.

A March 26 advance screening of the first episode at several locations was also announced.

Fanfare of Adolescence revolves around three 15-year-olds who aspire to be jockeys and attend a horse racing school to fulfill their dreams. The main staff includes Makoto Katou (Bloom into YouLord El-Melloi II’s Case Files {Rail Zeppelin} Grace note) as director, Hiro Kanzaki (Eromanga Sensei) as character designer, and Hiroyuki Sawano (Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway) as music composer. Team Fanfare is credited with the series composition.

Other staff include Tomokatsu Nagasaku (Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z) as chief animation director, Tomoe Ookubo (Golden Kamuy art designer) as art director, Reiko Iwasawa (IChu) as color designer, and Production I.G.’s Saitou Keiichi (Future Card Shin Buddyfight) as photography director. Lay-duce is the animation production company.

Meanwhile, the main cast of Fanfare of Adolescence includes Shougo Yano as Yuu Arimura, Simba Tsuchiya as Shun Kazanami, and Natsuki Hanae as Amane Grace. Other cast members include Youjirou Itokawa as Aki Kyouriki, Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Hayato Houshou, Tatsumaru Tachibana as Soujirou Sakuraba, Chiaki Kobayashi as Kouta Maki, Inori Minase as Eri Shimotsuki, Takahiro Sakurai as Yutaka Asahi, Hiroki Touchi as Kazuo Nohira, Lynn as Tako Kitami, Masako Katsuki as Naoko Saionji, and Daisuke Namikawa as Yoshihisa Kuji.
