The upcoming second season of Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!, which is set to premiere this year, has received a teaser visual and a new video that introduces the show’s incoming new characters. Additionally, it was revealed that the second season’s Japanese title is Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! ω, with “ω” being pronounced as “taburu.”
The new characters are all family members of the titular Hana Uzaki. They include Yanagi Uzaki (Seina Kato), Fujio Uzaki (Hideo Ishikawa), and Kiri Uzaki (Yuuko Sanpei).
Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!‘s first season aired in 2020. The anime is based on the Kadokawa-published romantic comedy manga by Take, which began in 2017 and has seven tankoubon volumes as of August 2021. It is serialized in the Dora Dora Sharp digital magazine on Nico Nico and is published under the Dragon Comics Age label.

The returning staff from Season 1 includes Miura Kazuya as director, Takashi Ooshima as series composer, and Manabu Kurihara as character designer. ENGI is still the animation production studio.
The returning cast includes Naomi Oozora as Hana Uzaki, Kenji Akabane as Shinichi Sakurai, Ayana Taketatsu as Ami Asai, Tomoya Takagi as Sakaki Itsuhito, Yousuke Akimoto as Akihiko Asai, and Saori Hayami as Tsuki Uzaki.
