Salaryman badminton anime Ryman’s Club has been delayed to January 29. It was originally meant to premiere on January 22.
The anime will depict both the daily life of a salaryman and the drama that comes with being a sports athlete. The protagonist is a former badminton prodigy called Mikoto Shiratori, who suffered a traumatic experience during an inter-high tournament. The story sees Mikoto joining the Sunlight Beverage company, where he is paired with the formidable Tatsuru Miyazumi.
The staff includes Aimi Yamauchi (Tokyo Revengers episode director and storyboarder) as director, Teruko Utsumi (Sarazanmai co-series composer) and Yamauchi as series composers, Majiro (Gekijōban Macross Delta: Zettai LIVE!!!!!! co-character designer) as character designer, Team RMC as the original creator, and Suzuhito Yasuda (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) as the original character designer.
Other staff include Kai Masatoshi (Fate/Grand Order THE MOVIE Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot Wandering; Agateram co-art director) as art director, Emiko Onodera (Magical Sempai) as color designer, and Naho Hasegawa (Peach Boy Riverside) as photography director. Liden Films is the animation production studio.
Meanwhile, the cast includes Junya Enoki as Mikoto Shiratori, Shin-ichirou Miki as Tatsuru Miyazumi, Kaito Ishikawa as Souta Saeki, Ryouta Oosaka as Touya Saeki, Tetsuya Kakihara as Kouki Takeda, Jun Fukuyama as Hayato Kirishima, Taku Yashiro as Azuma Tachibana, and Yuuma Uchida as Takuma Kirishima.
