After an incredible action-packed animation sequence, it comes as no surprise that Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation would reclaim the top spot of the Fall 2021 Anime Rankings. This is its third time at the top of this season, putting the isekai show in the driver’s seat once again to win this season’s best anime title. Meanwhile, 86 EIGHTY-SIX returns to the rankings after its second delayed episode, but its re-entry is not as momentous compared to two weeks ago when it returned to reclaim the top spot directly. This time, 86 EIGHT-SIX is only returning at #3.
Meanwhile, Ranking of Kings drops off from the Top 5 for the first time since the fifth week issue of the anime rankings. It might be just temporary though, since the series just revealed a plot twist that received rave reviews.

Rudeus Greyrat (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) retains the top spot of the male rankings for the second consecutive week, putting him slightly ahead of the other contenders for this season’s best boy title. Although Ranking of Kings went down in the anime rankings, its male lead character, Bojji, went up by three spots from #6 to return to #3—the prince’s highest rank so far this season.
In what seems to be a tribute for his last appearance by the viewers, Lenny (takt op.Destiny) is voted into the latest male rankings for the first time this season. Lugh Tuatha Dé (The World’s Finest Assassin) is pulled out of the Top 5 again as he drops to #8 this week, which is a four-point drop.

Though it might have lost the anime rankings this week, fans of Mieruko-chan still have something huge to celebrate this week as its female lead, Miko Yotsuya, seals the best girl title of Fall 2021. This is after winning her fifth consecutive week at the top of this season’s female rankings. Irina Luminesk (Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut) also had a good week too, as she enters the Top 3 for the first time this season.
Meanwhile, Towa Higurashi (Yashahime: Princess Half Demon) and Titan (takt op.Destiny) enter the Top 10 Female Rankings for the first time this season.

Hitohito Tadano and Shouko Komi (Komi Can’t Communicate) were unable to warm up their seats at the top spot of the couple-ship rankings. In just a week, staunch comrades Lev Leps and Irina Luminesk (Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut) oust the comedic high school couple after weeks of steady advance.
Meanwhile, the Maha and Lugh ship from The World’s Finest Assassin enter the couple-ship rankings based on the most recent events from the series.. This is the second ship from the series that is in the Top 10, with the other being Lugh’s ship with Dia.
