Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Has A New Trailer

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai has received a new trailer, which shows off more of the main characters’ dynamic as well as previewing supporting characters Tsumiki Ooshiro (M.A.O) and Toubaru-sensei (Kana Hanazawa). The anime is set to premiere in April 2022.

The staff includes Yasutaka Yamamoto (Noblesse director) as chief director, Tomoe Makino (Woodpecker Detective’s Office) as director, Takao Yoshioka (Horimiya) as series composer, and Yuuko Yahiro (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) as character designer. Yahiro, Tomoko Iwasa (Wave!! character designer), Chie Mishima (Otherside Picnic), and Tomoki Fukuchi (Otherside Picnic sub-character designer) are serving as chief animation directors.

Other staff include Baku Production’s Kenichi Kurata (Nekopara) as art director, Chiharu Tanaka (Nekopara) as color designer, Studio Shamrock’s Kazuya Iwai (Nekopara) as photography director, Satoru Kousaki (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song-) and MONACA (Maesetsu!) as music composers. FelixFilm is the animation production studio.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Inori Minase as the titular Reina Aharen and Takuma Terashima as Raidou. 

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is based on the manga by Asato Mizu, which began in 2017 and has 12 tankoubon volumes as of August 2021. It is published under the Jump Comics label. The romantic comedy revolves around adjacently seated classmates Reina and Raidou, with the former being a small and quiet person whose poor ability to gauge personal space makes her unpredictable.
