Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to Anime Reveals Additional Cast, Theme Song Artists, Premieres January 11


The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Yuu Tsurusaki and Shin Ikezawa‘s Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to (With a Fogie Reincarnated as a Pretty Fantasy Girl) manga revealed the anime’s two additional cast members, theme song artists, and January 11 premiere date.

The new cast members include Hikaru Tohno as Satina and Amane Shindou as Ultina. Other cast members include M.A.O as Hinata Tachibana, Satoshi Hino as Tsukasa Jinguuji, and Kento Itou as the male, pre-genderbent version of Hinata.

Yoshiki Fukuyama will perform the anime’s opening theme song “Akatsuki no Salaryman” (“Salaryman at Dawn”), while the idol group Luce Twinkle Wink will perform the anime’s ending theme song “‘FA’NTASY to!”

The anime’s staff includes Sayaka Yamai (ODDTAXI episode director) as director, Toshimitsu Takeuchi (Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens) as series composer, Aoi Yamato (ODDTAXI animation director) as original character designer, and Takeshi Watanabe (The Duke of Death and His Maid co-composer) as music composer. OLM Team Yoshioka is the animation production company.

Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan To is serialized on Cycomics’ website and Pixiv Comic. The first chapter was published in November 2019. Five tankoubon volumes have been released as of October 2021.

The manga follows a 32-year-old salaryman and his handsome, same-aged best friend who get transported to another world, with the former becoming a beautiful girl in the process. The two set off to defeat the Demon King and regain the protagonist’s original form, encountering various troubles along the way as a result of the protagonist’s looks.
