Tiger and Bunny 2 To Premiere on Netflix in April 2022

Tiger and Bunny 2, the sequel to 2011’s Tiger and Bunny, will premiere on Netflix in April 2022. The news was announced as part of the streaming platform’s Netflix Festival Japan 2021 event.

A visual for the anime was also released.

The staff of Tiger and Bunny 2 includes Mitsuko Kase (Young Black Jack) as director; Masafumi Nishida (Tiger and Bunny) as series composer, scriptwriter, and story director; and Masakazu Katsura (Tiger and Bunny original character designer ) as character designer. Katsura will also be resuming his previous role as hero designer. BN Pictures is producing Tiger and Bunny 2.

Meanwhile, the returning cast includes Hiroaki Hirata as Kotetsu T. Kaburagi/Wild Tiger, Masakazu Morita as Barnaby Brooks Jr., Minako Kotobuki as Karina Lyle/Blue Rose, Taiten Kusunoki as Antonio Lopez/Rock Bison, Mariya Ise as Pao-Lin Huang/Dragon Kid, Kenjirou Tsuda as Nathan Seymour/Fire Emblem, Gou Inoue as Keith Goodman/Sky High, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Ivan Karelin/Origami Cyclone.

In an alternate New York City protected by a band of superheroes called NEXT, veteran Wild Tiger is forced to team up with rookie Barnaby Brooks Jr.
