The official Twitter account for publisher Sega and developer CyberConnect2‘s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan) fighting game announced that the game has shipped over a million units worldwide.

The tweet thanks fans for their support and asks them to continue enjoying the world of Demon Slayer through the game. The account also reminds players that the game’s first free update, which adds Rui and Akaza as playable characters, will launch soon.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on October 14 in Japan and October 15 worldwide.
Sega Asia describes the game as:
Become the Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado, to fight off the demons threatening humanity in order to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human, as well as to avenge the death of his family by hunting down the demon who killed them.
