Shaman King Anime Previews Mt. Osore Le Voile Arc

The Shaman King anime has offered a preview of the Mt. Osore Le Voile arc via a new video and visual. The arc takes place before the events of the main story and involves Yoh Asakura’s (Youko Hikasa) first encounter with Anna Kyouyama (Megumi Hayashibara).

Voicing Matamune, Yoh’s spirit companion at the time of the Mt. Osore Le Voile arc, is Hideyuki Tanaka.

Shaman King premiered in April in Japan, with 13 episodes later being released on Netflix in August. The anime is based on the manga series by Hiroyuki Takei, which ended in 2004. The manga was first adapted into an anime in 2001 prior to the current 2021 adaptation.

Netflix describes the show as:

Medium Yoh Asakura enters a battle tournament held every 500 years, competing with other shamans in a bid to become the all-powerful Shaman King.

The staff of Shaman King includes Jouji Furuta (The Seven Deadly SinsRevival of The CommandmentsUta no Prince-sama: Maji Love Kingdom) as director, Jouji Yonemura (Wave, Listen to Me!) as series composer, Sano Satohiko (Talentless Nana) as character designer, Masaaki Kawaguchi (Talentless Nana) as art director, Natsuko Ootsuka (In/Spectre) as color designer, Teruyuki Kawase (Talentless Nana) as photography director, and Yuuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia series) as music composer.
