Blue Reflection: Second Light Demo Now Available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch

Publisher Koei Tecmo America and developer Gust Studios announced that the demo for Blue Reflection: Second Light is now available to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch players in North America and Europe.

Players will be able to play through both the Prologue and Story Demo of the game. The Prologue lets players play through Ao’s journey from the beginning, as she first wakes up in this dreamlike world, while the Story Demo lets fans learn experience the gameplay basics such as crafting, exploration, and battle. As a bonus, players who complete the Prologue will obtain the “Bunny – Head Accessory” and the Fragment “Preparing for the Unknown” as exclusive bonuses when upgrading to the full version of the game.

The developer also announced a number of free post-launch updates for the game, which will release separately. The updates include a hardcore difficulty mode named “MUST DIE” and new Photo Mode filters featuring photo frames, idol poses, and a Pixel Art filter. The first update will release on November 23 while the second will release On December 21.

Blue Reflection: Second Light launched for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on October 21 in Japan, and is due out for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on November 9 in North America and Europe.

Koei Tecmo describes the game as:

Blue Reflection: Second Light follows the adventures of three students—Ao Hoshizaki, Kokoro Utsubo, and Yuki Kinjou—who find themselves transported to a mysterious floating academy, searching for clues to find their way back home, with only their names as memories.
