The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy Is Getting an Anime

The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy light novels are getting an anime adaptation. The news was announced via a special PV on the KADOKAWAanime YouTube channel, which revealed that the anime was in the planning stage.

The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur is written by Yū Shimizu and illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka. The light novels began in 2019, with the eighth volume to release on October 25. There is also a manga adaptation.

Yen Press describes the story as:

Battles for ancient kingdoms are nothing compared to the battles of a classroom!
Awakening from magical stasis after a thousand years, the Dark Lord Leonis suddenly finds himself in the body of a ten-year-old boy! He quickly meets Riselia, a girl confronting the Voids, creatures that have nearly exterminated humanity. Could the Voids hold some connection to Leonis’s past?
