The second season recently premiered in Spring 2020. A-1 Pictures was in charge of the animation production. The anime adaptation is based on the manga by Aka Akasaka.
During the 7th Anime Trending Awards, Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2 won Best Comedy, Best Opening, Best in Adapted Screenplay, and Best Boy with Ishigami Yu.
