Koyoharu Gotouge’s popular Demon Slayer series has teamed up with Japanese convenience store franchise chain Lawson for a lineup of food, including a Christmas cake, Japanese New Year food, and fried chicken.
The cake features a cocoa sponge base between two layers of banana-flavored cream, strawberry flavored cream, and a chocolate cream top. It will also have a Merry Christmas decoration on the top featuring a visual of the Demon Slayer characters and will come with a set of two plates. The cake will cost 4,800 yen (US$43.02), with pre-orders open until December 15 at 6:00 pm.
Meanwhile, the 16,300 yen (US$146.06) Demon Slayer single-layer osechi ryouri will feature traditional Japanese New Year foods, which are packed into a Demon Slayer-themed osechi box. . It will also come with a Nezuko wrapping cloth known as a furoshiki, one plate, and will be packed in a cardboard box representing the box that Tanjirou wears to carry Nezuko in the series. Pre-orders for this are open until December 15 at 6:00 pm.
Finally, the Karaage kun box offers one regular, red, Hokkaido cheese, and an original sticker. It will be served in a special Demon Slayer-themed box, and lucky customers who receive a winning card can submit their information to receive a DX train container. It will cost 1,500 yen (US$13.47).
