Netflix announced during its TUDUM online fan event that it will release Super Crooks anime on November 25 worldwide. The main cast was announced featuring Kenjiro Tsuda as Johnny Bolt and Maaya Sakamoto as Kasey. Both made an appearance during the online event.
A new key visual and anime preview trailer was also revealed.
Super Crooks is an adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic series, which began in 2012 and ran for four issues. The staff includes Motonobu Hori (Carole and Tuesday) as director, Dai Satō (Listener) as series composer, Takashi Mitani (Carole and Tuesday key animator) as character designer, and Stanislas Brunet (Carole and Tuesday world designer) as concept designer. Bones is the animation production studio.
