Publisher Bushiroad and developer Kaminari Games announced a brand new shoot ’em up game for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch based on the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid manga series titled Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Burst Forth!! Choro-gon Breath (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon Sakuretsu!! Chorogon Breath).
The game will launch in spring 2022 in both English and Japanese. Yūki Kuwahara will reprise her role as Tohru from the anime. A commercial trailer and visual for the game was also revealed.
The Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid manga launched in Monthly Action magazine in May 2013. The manga’s anime adaptation premiered in January 2017. The second season titled Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S, premiered on July 7 and ended on September 23 with its 12th episode.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases the manga in English and describes the story as:
Miss Kobayashi lives in a ordinary apartment, along with her new maid, Tohru…a dragon girl! Tohru despises all humans except for Miss Kobayashi, who she adores. Tohru works diligently to serve her beloved mistress, but there are a lot of little things that she can’t seem to quite get right…. Take a peek into the daily life of a hard-working office lady and her inept dragon maid in this inhumanly delightful comedy!
