The Way of the Househusband Part 2 Gets New Trailer, Will Release Worldwide on Netflix October 7

Netflix revealed a new English-subtitled trailer, additional cast, the theme song artist, and the October 7 worldwide release date for the upcoming second part of the anime adaptation of Kousuke Oono’s The Way of the Househusband (Gokushufudō) manga. Additionally, Netflix also announced that the Gokufūdō (The Way of the Household Tools) “extra” live-action series will release on Netflix in Japan on October 7.

The anime’s newly added cast members include Tomokazu Sugita as Bob and Subaru Kimura as Gōda. Previously revealed cast members include Shizuka Itō as Miku, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Masa, Kenjirō Tsuda as Tatsu, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Torajirō, Atsuko Tanaka as Hibari Torii, and M.A.O as Gin.

Uchikubigokumon-Dōkōkai will perform the opening theme song “Chef no Michi” (“The Way of the Chef”) and the ending theme song “Gokushufukaidō” (“The Highway of the Househusband”).

The anime’s staff includes Chiaki Kon (Junjō Romantica) as director and Susumu Yamakawa (Back Street Girls: Gokudols) as series composer with J.C.Staff in charge of the animation production.
