Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Movie Premieres November 12, Trailer and Visual Released

The Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Jizokukanou Sensou (Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Sustainable War) anime movie is set to premiere in Japan on November 12. It will screen in cinemas for two weeks.

The movie is a compilation of the first season of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 with new scenes included. The first season’s theme song, “Fly with me” by millennium parade, will receive an Atmos mix treatment for the movie.

A main visual for the movie drawn by character designer Ilya Kuvshinov was also released. 

The staff includes the series’ directors Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki as the chief directors, while Michihito Fujī (A Family live-action movie) is the director. Production I.G and SOLA DIGITAL ARTS are the animation production companies.

Kamiyama had previously said that another creator will be in charge of the Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 compilation movie and that he wanted to know how Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 looked like from the perspective of others.

The first season of the 3DCG Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 was released on Netflix in 2020. It is a follow-up to the Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex series, which Kamiyama also directed. The second season of the series is currently in production.
