Love After World Domination Anime Gets New Visual, Additional Cast

The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Hiroshi Noda and Takahiro Wakamatsu’s Love After World Domination (Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de) manga revealed additional cast members and a new key visual. The anime is set to premiere sometime in 2022. Funimation will stream the series as it airs.

The anime’s new cast members include Kana Hanazawa as Kiki Majima, Hisako Kanemoto as Kyōko Kuroyuri, Ayane Sakura as Anna Hōjō, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Hayato Ōji, Nene Hieda as Misaki Jingūji, Junji Majima as Daigo Todoroki, and Rina Hidaka as Haru Orisugawa. Other cast members include Yūsuke Kobayashi as Fudō Aikawa/Red Gelato, Ikumi Hasegawa as Desumi Magahara/Queen of Death, and Fumihiko Tachiki as Narrator.

The anime’s staff includes Kazuya Iwata (Cute Executive Officer) as director, Satoru Sugizawa (Cute Executive Officer) as series composer, Akemi Kobayashi (Pretear) as character designer, Satoshi Motoyama (91 Days) as sound director, and Satoshi Hōno (Clockwork Planet) and Ryūnosuke Kasai as music composers. Pony Canyon and App Dream are producing the music, and the animation production will be from project No.9.

The Love After World Domination manga launched in Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2019. The manga focuses on Fudō Aikawa and Desumi Magahara’s relationship. Fudō is known as “Red Gelato,” and he is the leader of the Gelato 5 hero squadron that seeks world peace. Meanwhile, Desumi is the leader of “Gecko,” an evil organization plotting to rule the world. Despite their opposing backgrounds and differences, the pair attempt to pursue a romantic relationship.
