Sequel For Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Series Announced

The Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya anime series is getting a sequel. The news was announced at a stage greeting that was held today to commemorate the release of the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Licht – Namae no Nai Shōjo film, which premiered in Japan on August 27.

Apart from the recently released movie, the Fate/kaleid series currently includes four seasons, the 2017 Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Movie: Oath Under Snow movie, and an OVA. The anime’s first season aired in 2013. All of the installments were produced by Silver Link.

Fate/kaleid is an alternate universe magical girl spin-off of the Fate series. It is based on the manga by Hiroshi Hiroyama, which began in 2007 and kicked off its ongoing third installment, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 3rei!!, in 2012.
