DMM pictures has released the first character trailer for the original anime Fena: Pirate Princess. The anime began streaming on Adult Swim and Crunchyroll on August 14, but will only premiere in Japan in October.
The character trailer focuses on the titular Fena Houtman (Asami Seto) and her allies, which are composed of Houtman servants and the Sanada clan, which has protected the Houtmans for generations. The Houtman servants include Salman (Manabu Muraji) and Otto (Hiroaki Hirata), while the Sanada members include Yukimaru (Ryota Suzuki), Shitan (Takahiro Sakurai), Karin (Aoi Yūki), Enju (Gen Satō), Kaede (Ryota Ōsaka), Tsubaki (Jun Ōsuka), and Makaba (Shintaro Tanaka).
Fena: Pirate Princess is a Crunchyroll x Adult Swim original title with Production I.G as the animation production studio. The staff includes Kazuto Nakazawa (B: The Beginning) as the director and original story creator, Asako Kuboyama as the screenplay writer, and Yuki Kajiura (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as music composer.
