180-Byou de Kimi no Mimi o Shiawase ni Dekiru ka? ASMR Anime Announces Voice Cast

The upcoming ASMR-themed 180-Byou de Kimi no Mimi o Shiawase ni Dekiru ka? anime announced its voice cast earlier this week.

The show’s cast includes Shiori Mikami as Akari Sawake, Suzuko Mimori as Akari’s classmate Shūsui Kagami, and Azumi Waki as Akari’s older sister Hikari Sawake. Other cast members include Kanae Itō as Akari’s mother Udoku Sawake, Yū Serizawa and Aoi Koga as the protagonist’s younger sisters Nanako and Kanako respectively, and Shō Hayami as Shūsui’s father Jirō.

180-Byou de Kimi no Mimi o Shiawase ni Dekiru ka? (Can I Make Your Ears Happy in 180 Seconds?) is set to premiere in Japan in October. There will also be four ear-picking ASMR releases featuring Akari, Shūsui, Hikari, and Udoku respectively that will be released throughout September on DLsite.

The staff includes Yoshinobu Kasai (TSUKIPRO THE ANIMATION 2 assistant episode director) as director and Takayuki Noguchi (Higehiro, Queen’s Blade) as character designer. INDIVISION and EKACHI EPILKA are the animation production studios.

The story follows Akari, nicknamed Gecko-chan, a high school girl who buys a dummy head mic in order to enter the world of ASMR. Akari’s efforts are due to her estranged childhood friend, “You,” being hooked on ASMR. 

Meanwhile, Shūsui, who wishes to become Akari’s friend, also steps into the world of ASMR, while Nanako and Kanako try to reclaim their brother from Akari. Akari’s sister and mother also become involved in ASMR when they happen upon her dummy mic.
