A new MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA gameplay preview shines the spotlight on Hisui, the younger of the Tohno mansion’s twin maids.
The currently unlisted video (spotted by Gematsu) shows Hisui utilizing tools like a frying pan and feather duster, as well as furniture, vases, and a laid-out bento meal. The “quiet, yet deeply affectionate maid” is described as a fighter who “excels at speedy rush attacks and can also play a more technical style with projectiles and traps using her cleaning and cooking tools.”
The TYPE-MOON GAMES YouTube channel previously released a gameplay preview of Hisui and her sister Kohaku, as well as previews for Akiha Tohno, Ciel, Arcuied, Kouma Kishima, and Shiki Tohno.
Developed by French Bread, MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA is set to release on September 2021 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam. It is the latest entry in the Melty Blood fighting game series, which is based on TYPE-MOON’s Tsukihime visual novel. The new title is described as being based on the upcoming Tsukihime remake, Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-.
MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA‘s website says that the game will have over 10 characters, upgraded visuals and HD environments, and a completely rebuilt and more modern-feeling battle system.
