My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes’ Mission Film Gets New PV

The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of My Hero Academia revealed a new promotional video for the third anime film in the My Hero Academia franchise, My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes’ Mission. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on August 6.

The film’s returning staff members include Kenji Nagasaki as director, Yōsuke Kuroda as scriptwriter, Yoshihiko Umakoshi as character designer, and Yuki Hayashi as music composer. Original manga creator Kōhei Horikoshi will continue to serve as chief supervisor and original character designer. Asian Kung-Fu Generation will perform the film’s theme song “Empathy.” The animation production will be from Bones.

The cast includes Mariya Ise as Belos, Junya Enoki as Sir Pentas, Yūichirō Umehara as Shidero, Shogo Sakata as Leviathan, Hirofumi Nojima as Allen Kay, Yōko Honna as Claire Voyance, Megumi Hayashibara as Pino, and Kazuya Nakai as Flect Turn.

The film’s story will see series protagonist Deku being wanted for mass murder. At the same time, the heroes only have two hours to stop a plot set to bring about the destruction of the world.
