A new KONOSUBA: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! anime has been announced. It is currently unknown as to which studio will produce the show.
A visual for the new anime was also released.
The KONOSUBA light novel series by Natsume Akatsuki, which ended in 2020 with 17 volumes, was previously adapted into two seasons and a movie titled KONOSUBA -God’s blessing on this wonderful world!- Legend of Crimson. The series was produced by Studio Deen, while the movie was produced by J.C.Staff. All of the previous adaptations had Takaomi Kanasaki as director, Makoto Uezu as scriptwriter, Kōichi Kikuta as character designer, Masakazu Miyake as art director, and Masato Kōda as music composer.

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…
