Isekai Quartet Movie Announced, Releases In 2022

A movie for the crossover chibi-style anime series Isekai Quartet has been announced with a 2022 release date. A teaser trailer was also released.

The first season of Isekai Quartet aired in 2019, while the second season aired in 2020. The premise of the comedy anime involved the casts of four isekai light novel adaptations — Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, Overlord, The Saga of Tanya the Evil, and Konosuba -God’s blessing on this wonderful world! — being transported to a school setting.

The staff for the series includes Minoru Ashina as director and scriptwriter, Minoru Takahara as character designer and chief animation director, Natsuko Tosugi as art director and art designer, Junichi Ōkubo as photography director, and Ruka Kawada as music composer. Studio Puyukai was in charge of the animation production.
