The official website for the anime adaptation of Zappon and Yasumo’s Banished From The Heroes’ Party (Shin no Nakama janai to Yūsha no Party o Oidasareta node, Henkyō de Slow Life Suru Koto ni Shimashita) light novel series revealed that the anime has been delayed from July to October due to “various circumstances.” A new visual and additional cast members were also revealed.
The new cast members include Kōhei Amasaki as Albert, Masahiro Yamanaka as Gonz, Sora Tokui as Nao, Takeru Mishina as Mido, and Yū Serizawa as Tanta. Previously announced cast members include Ryōta Suzuki as Red, Kanon Takao as Rit, Naomi Ōzora as Ruti, Sora Amamiya as Yarandrala, and Taku Yashiro as Ares.
The anime’s staff includes Makoto Hoshino (DamePri Anime Caravan, KING’S RAID: Successors of the Will) as director, Megumi Shimizu (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) as scriptwriter, and Ruriko Watanabe (KutsuDaru) character designer. The animation production will be from Wolfsbane and Studio Flad.
Yen Press publishes the light novels in English and describes the story as:
