The staff includes Michio Fukuda (Terra Formars: Revenge) as director, Nishida as series composer and scriptwriter, illustrator POKImari as original character designer, and Kaoru Wada (Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon) as music composer. Gambit is in charge of the animation production.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Konomi Kohara as Botan Negoro, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Kuruma, Tomoaki Maeno as Ryuunosuke Takamatsu, Junichi Suwabe as Mickey Miller, and Hiroshi Kamiya as Oliver Thornton.

The Tesla Note manga is written by Masafumi and Kubo Tadayoshi and drawn by Kouta Sannnomiya. It is set to begin serialization in Weekly Shounen Magazine in June.

Kodansha (as translated by MyAnimeList) describes the manga’s story as:

Mission T is a secret operation to save the world from destruction. Trained as a ninja from a young age, Botan Negoro, raised to become the ultimate spy, teams up with another excellent spy, Kuruma. Their aim is to recover the legacy of the genius inventor Nikola Tesla, the “Shards of Tesla.” Can the two outwit the agents of other countries who are also pursuing these fragments? A super-original spy thriller begins.

Melvyn originally wanted to write about video games, and he did so for a few years, starting from his college days. He still writes about video games sometimes, but now focuses on anime-related news content and the occasional review. Some of his free time is spent self-learning Japanese, both out of interest in the language and because English-translated light novels and manga are expensive. Every anime season, Melvyn looks forward to discovering new standout episodes and OP/ED animation sequences, as well as learning about the storyboard artists and directors behind them.
