Josee, The Tiger and The Fish Anime Movie To Hit Malaysian Cinemas On April 22

Drama anime movie Josee, the Tiger and the Fish will arrive in Malaysian cinemas on April 22. The movie will be exclusively screened at outlets of the TGV cinema chain.

Based on a short story by Seiko Tanabe, the movie follows a college student named Tsuneo (Tashi Nakagawa), who becomes the caretaker for Josee (Kaya Kiyohara), a girl who uses a wheelchair. The movie was released in Japan on December 25. 

Studio BONES is in charge of the animation production, while Eve is singing the movie’s theme song and insert song. Josee, the Tiger and the Fish‘s staff includes Koutaro Tamura (Noragami) as director, Sayaka Kuwamura (Strobe Edge live action movie) as scriptwriter, Nao Emoto (O Maidens in Your Savage Season manga) as original character designer/comic adapter, Iizuka Haruko (Little Busters!) as character designer and chief animation director, loudraw (Tsuki ga Kirei) as concept designer, and Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) as music composer.
