My Hero Academia Upcoming 3rd Anime Movie Coming August 8 in Japan

The official website for My Hero Academia announced the complete title for the 3rd anime series movie: My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes’ Mission. The film’s release date is scheduled for August 8 in Japan. 

A new teaser trailer was also revealed.

Key staff includes Kohei Horikoshi returning as chief supervisor and original character designer, Kenji Nagasaki as director, Yousuke Kuroda as script writer, Yuki Hayashi as music composer, and Yoshihiko Umakoshi as character designer. 

The 5th season of the TV anime series is now broadcasting in Japan and streaming on Crunchyroll, Funimation, Wakanim, and AnimeLab. 

My Hero Academia is based on the manga by Kōhei Horikoshi. The anime’s first season originally premiered in April 2016, while the fourth season premiered in October 2019.
