Tokyo Revengers Anime Gets New PV, Key visual, and Additional Cast

The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers manga revealed a new key visual, promotional video, theme song artist, and new cast members for the anime. Tokyo Revengers is set to premiere on April 10.

The newly announced cast members include Masaaki Mizunaka as Keisuke Baji, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Takashi Mitsuya, Subaru Kimura as Haruki Hayashida, Yukihiro Nozuyama as Ryōhei Hayashi, Kengo Kawanishi as Nahoya Kawata, Daisuke Ono as Yasuhiro Mutō, and Eiji Takeuchi as Nobutaka Osanai.

Other cast members include Yūki Shin as Takemichi Hanagaki, Azumi Waki as Hinata Tachibana, Ryota Ohsaka as Naoto Tachibana, Yuu Hayashi as Manjirō “Mikey” Sano, and Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Ken “Doraken” Ryūgūji.

The anime’s main staff includes Koichi Hatsumi (Deadman Wonderland, Gangsta) as director, Yasuyuki Muto (Deadman Wonderland) as the scriptwriter, and Kenichi Ohnuki (Golden Kamuy) and Keiko Ōta (Ace Attorney) as the character designers. Satoki Iida will serve as the sound director, while Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Jujutsu Kaisen, Dr. Stone, Children of the Whales) is composing the music. The animation production will be from LIDEN FILMS.

Kodansha Comics is publishing the Tokyo Revengers manga digitally in English and describes the story as:

Watching the news, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his girlfriend from way back in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, has died. The only girlfriend he ever had was just killed by a villainous group known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a crappy apartment with thin walls, and his six-years-younger boss treats him like an idiot.
