The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light anime movie will premiere on July 2, according to a new trailer. The anime was first announced in January and will feature an original story by The Seven Deadly Sins mangaka Nakaba Suzuki.
A new visual featuring the Seven Sins and Zeldris, as well as the tagline, “Farewell, the Seven Deadly Sins,” was released on the anime’s website.
The staff of The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light includes Takayuki Hamana (Arte) as director and Rintarou Ikeda (Hortensia Saga series composer) as script writer. Studio Deen is in charge of the animation production.
Prior to The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light, The Seven Deadly Sins manga received an anime movie adaptation with the subtitle of Prisoners of the Sky in 2018. There are also four anime seasons, including the currently airing The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement.
Netflix describes the series as:
When a kingdom is taken over by tyrants, the deposed princess begins a quest to find a disbanded group of evil knights to help take back her realm.
