Peach Boy Riverside Anime Announces More Cast Members, Releases Key Visual

The upcoming Peach Boy Riverside anime has announced several new cast members. The anime also received a new key visual. 

The newly announced cast members include Toshiki Masuda as Hawthorne, M.A.O. as Frau, Jirou Saitou as Dog, and Megumi Toda as Carrot. Previously announced cast members were Haruka Shiraichi as Sally and Nao Toyama as Mikoto. 

The staff includes Shigeru Ueda (Gekidol) as director, Oochi Keiichiro (Adachi and Shimamura) as series composer, Satomi Kurita (Princess ConnectRe: Dive) and Masato Katou (Wave!! Surfing Yappe!! animation director) as character designers, Maki Satou (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) as color designer, Takayoshi Fukishima (Twittering Birds Never FlyThe Clouds Gather) as art director, Naho Hasegawa (Wave!! Surfing Yappe!!) as photography director, and Takaaki Nakahashi (Calcio Fantasista game) as music composer. Asahi Production is in charge of the animation production. 

The Peach Boy Riverside anime is based on the manga by Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid‘s Coolkyousinnjya and is set to premiere in July. Kodansha describes the manga as: 

Saltherine Aldarake, princess of the Kingdom of Aldarake, dreams of traveling the world—a dangerous dream in a land where monsters roam the countryside as they please, and humans live behind high, strong walls. But when a chance meeting with traveler Mikoto gives hope to her dream, he shatters it soon after, as he reveals himself to be none other than Momotaro, ruthless demon-slayer. Though horrified by the gore Momotaro leaves behind, Saltherine is convinced more than ever that she needs to learn about the world beyond her walls, and journeys out…following the steps of the mysterious, charismatic, terrifying boy she met that day…
