The Duke of Death and His Maid Anime Announced With Teaser Trailer and Visual

A 3DCG anime adaptation of the manga The Duke of Death and His Maid (Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid) has been announced. A teaser trailer and key visual were also released.

The staff includes Yoshinobu Yamakawa (High Score Girl) as director, Hideki Shirane (Danmachi Seasons 1 to 3) as series composer, Mitsuru Kuwabata (High Score Girl) as character designer, and Yusuke Suzuki (High Score Girl) as CG Director. J.C. Staff is in charge of the animation production, while SMDE is in charge of the CGI. 

Meanwhile, the cast includes Natsuki Hanae (Kemono Jihen) as Bocchan (meaning Young Master) and Ayumi Mano (WIXOSS Diva(A)Live) as Alice. 

The manga series by Inoue began in October 2017 and released its 10th volume in October 2020. The story centers on Bocchan, who was cursed since childhood to bring death to anything he touches. Rejected by his aristocratic family, Bocchan now lives in a mansion in the woods. He has a maid called Alice, who bewilders him with her acts of sexual harassment towards him.
