So I’m a Spider, So What? to Stream on Ani-One Starting January 8

Ani-One Asia has announced the addition of So I’m a Spider, So What? to its Winter 2021 anime catalog. The first episode is scheduled to be uploaded on January 8, 2021 at 9:30 PM (GMT+8), with episodes being updated every Friday.

The countries that can stream the anime are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore.

So I’m a Spider, So What? will also be available in Taiwan on Bilibili, IQIYI, myVideo, KKTV, Bahamut, friDay video, line TV, and Chunghwa Telecom (MOD + Hami Video). The anime is available on BiliBili for Hong Kong, Brunei, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia as well.

Millepensee is handling the animation production, with Shin Itagaki directing the series. Other staff include Okina Baba and Yūichirō Momose as series composers. Kii Tanaka as character designer, Shinji Nagaoka as art director, Hideki Imaizumi as director of photography, and Shūji Katayama as music composer. Okina Baba and Tsukasa Kiryu are credited for the original story and original character designs respectively.

Aoi Yuuki (Rent-A-Girlfriend) is starring as the series’ protagonist The Spider. Other cast members include Aimi Tanaka (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Fifth Plate) as Yuri, Eri Kitamura (Made in Abyss) as Fei, Junya Enoki (Jujutsu Kaisen) as Julius, Kaito Ishikawa (Haikyu!! series) as Hugo, Kaya Okuno (Wake Up, Girls!) as Filimøs, Nao Touyama (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) as Katia, Shun Horie (Rent-A-Girlfriend) as Shun, and Yui Ogura (Princess Connect! Re:Dive) as Sue.

Anime News Network describes the series as:

After a Japanese classroom was destroyed by a mysterious explosion all the students reincarnated as humans on a fantasy world except for a female student who had the lowest reputation on the classroom, she was reincarnated as a spider monster. Being the weakest monster on the dungeon she need to survive using all her human intellect and courage.
