Crunchyroll Games announced that it is collaborating with Cygames, funplex, and GREE, Inc to bring the popular mobile game Princess Connect! Re:Dive to fans outside of Japan and several Asian countries like China, Taiwan, Korea, and Thailand. Pre-registration is now available on the App Store and Google Play Store. The release date has yet to be confirmed but the App Store indicates an expected launch date for March 2021.
The game was originally released in Japan in 2018. It later received Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Thai translations. The Japanese cast will be featured in the worldwide release version and includes M•A•O as Pecorine, Itou Miku as Kokkoro, Rika Tachibana as Karyl, Sora Amamiya as Miyako, Saori Hayami as Ray, and Maaya Uchida as Maho.
Princess Connect! Re:Dive received an anime adaptation in April 2020 and a second season has been confirmed for production. CygamePictures is in charge of the animation production with the key staff featuring Takaomi Kanasaki as director, scriptwriter, and series composer, Hiroyuki Kamei as scriptwriter, and Lie Jun Yang, Satomi Kurita, and Yasuyuki Noda as character designers.
